Proof that Brampton is brimming with creative talent was demonstrated on May 15, when the city handed out Citizens Awards for Arts Acclaim at its annual event that recognizes members of the public in the areas of arts, humanitarian, inspiration, long-term service and citizen of the year.
Twelve Brampton residents, and two Brampton groups, took home the 2011/2012 award that recognizes accomplishments in the arts.
